Liverpool match Man United's 20th Premier League title record with Tottenham's thrashing

The Reds matched Manchester United’s EPL title record with an impressive performance this season.

Arne Slot's team entered their match against Tottenham Hotspur needing to avoid a loss to secure the league title. 

In a stunning display of dominance, they emphatically defeated Spurs 5-1, remarkably clinching the EPL title. 

Liverpool manager Arne Slot's lineup for this weekend's match against Leicester featured two alterations from the previous 1-0 victory. 

Andy Robertson replaced Kostas Tsimikas at left-back, and Trent Alexander-Arnold took Conor Bradley's place at right-back.

The defensive lineup includes Destiny Udogie, Kevin Danso, Ben Davies, and Djed Spence. In midfield, Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison are back, while Dominic Solanke takes Richarlison's place as the forward.

Tottenham took an early lead in the first half courtesy of Dominic Solanke, but Liverpool responded with three goals from Luis Díaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo before the halftime break.

Everything went bad for Tottenham in the second half as they conceded two goals, one own goal from Destiny Udogie and another from Mohamed Salah.

Tottenham left the game embarrassed with a 5-1 scoreline as Liverpool matched Man United's 20th EPL record.
