Oliseh claims Real Madrid wants Osimhen

Speaking on his "Oliseh Insight Podcast", the former Super Eagles captain suggested that Real Madrid would likely back their manager in any dispute with the player.

"Xabi Alonso is a top international figure. He has proven his worth outside of Spain and is the new manager they've brought in," Oliseh stated. 

"Real Madrid have the luxury now to say to Vinicius, 'go,' because if you leave, Mbappe can move back to his natural position. It's not as if they lose you and lose something significant."

"There's a lot of talk behind the scenes about the possibility of Osimhen being a candidate," Oliseh said. "I won't reveal how I got this information, but there's a lot of discussion. 

“Let's see how this plays out. When I heard it from a top personality, I was happy for the young man."

The potential interest from Madrid comes amid uncertainty surrounding Vinicius Jr.'s future. The winger has yet to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2027.
