As Leeds United makes its return to the Premier League, the club is looking to build a competitive squad. They have completed another significant transfer, acquiring Noah Okafor from AC Milan for a fee of €19 million.

The Swiss winger initially moved to Milan from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2023 for €15.5 million, making 54 appearances with seven goals and five assists. Last season, he played on loan at Napoli.

Okafor brings top-level experience from both Serie A and international football. In his debut season at AC Milan, he played a key role in helping the Rossoneri secure a second-place finish in the league.

The following campaign, he continued to be an important part of Milan’s squad before making a winter loan switch to Napoli, where he played a crucial part in their historic title triumph, securing just the club’s fourth-ever Scudetto. On the international stage, Okafor has also made his mark.

After progressing through Switzerland’s youth ranks, he made his senior debut in 2019 against England in the Nations League finals. Since then, he has gone on to earn 24 caps and featured at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old will now link up with his new teammates at Elland Road, many of whom he faced during Leeds’ pre-season friendly in Dublin. Leeds United said in a statement: “Everyone at the club is delighted to welcome Noah, and we look forward to seeing him in action for the Whites.”
