Big night for Embiid
Joel Embiid recorded his 24th 35-point game this season, the most in a season by a center since Moses Malone's 25 in 1981-82. Malone won MVP that very season. pic.twitter.com/o7DKYMHoJq

Embiid was totally dominant, 36 points on 12-for-19 shooting, 18 rebounds, four blocks, and still found the time to show some generosity with three assists.
The Cavs were without their best defender Jarred Allen so Evan Mobley was tasked with defending Embiid. The Sixers wasted no time in stamping his superiority, drawing a foul on each of the team's first two possessions and never looking back.
Embiid was dominant in the first quarter, recording 15 points and adding an impressive seven rebounds.
He continued his utter domination of Evan Mobley as the game went on including showing off his ability to shoot from beyond the arc.
The conversation surrounding the MVP had been restricted to Nikola Jokic and some whispers of Bucks superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
However, Joel Embiid has now moved ahead of the queue. He s leading the Sixers in remarkable fashion as they aim to finish the season as champions.
