James Nnaji returns as Barcelona ends 3-game losing streak against Manresa

Barcelona recorded a 93-72 victory against Manresa in a Spanish ACB fixture played on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Both sides had their offense following in the third quarter as the lead extended to 28 points.

Barcelona Head coach Šarūnas Jasikevičius took off the starters as the second unit played out the fourth quarter.

The Catalan side will hold on for a 21-point victory and return to winning ways in front of their home fans.

Nigerian basketball youngster James Nnaji made his return to the Barcelona setup in the victory against Manresa.

Nnaji missed Barcelona's last two games in the Euro League against Olympiacos and Fenerbache.

The 18-year-old in the game against Manresa featured in garbage time as Barcelona coasted to victory.

In 12 minutes of action, Nnaji missed his two shots, committed two fouls, grabbed one rebound, had one block, and made one of two from the free-throw line.

Nnaji will now aim to get more minutes when Barcelona returns to action against Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda in an Euro League encounter scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023.
