Sunday saw the final set of the preliminary round of inter-confederation qualification playoffs held for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup scheduled to take place in Australia and New Zealand.

Two matches in the playoff tournament on Sunday, saw Panama defeat Papua New Guinea 2-0, and Paraguay, defeated Taiwan 4-2 on penalties after a dramatic 2-2 match.

A day earlier, Africa's hopefuls Cameroon, and Senegal, suffered opposing fates with the Indomitable Lionesses defeating Thailand 2-0, and Senegal losing 4-0 to Haiti.

All is now set for three finals in the inter-confederation qualification playoffs to decide what teams will complete the already qualified 29 expected to participate in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Qualified teams will occupy the remains spots in the Groups at the 2023 Women's World Cup

Bracket A final

On Wednesday Cameroon will meet Portugal in Hamilton, New Zealand, with one side guaranteed a ticket to the World Cup. 

The winner of this playoff final will enter Group E at the World Cup.

Bracket B final

Also on Wednesday, but in Auckland, New Zealand, Haiti and Chile will battle for another ticket to the World Cup. 

The winner will enter Group D.

Bracket C final

On Thursday in Hamilton, Panama and Paraguay will compete for the first time in World Cup qualification.

The winner of this playoff final will enter Group F.
