Ibadan to host JGM U-16, U-19 National Squash Tournament

Ibadan has been confirmed as the host of the first edition of the JGM Residential Maintenance Services Ltd. U-16 and U-19 National Squash Tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to be held at the Recreation Club Ibadan (1902) between April 12 and 15.

Niyi Oyewumi, Managing Director of JGM Residential Maintenance Services Ltd., stated that the date has been approved by the board of the Nigeria Squash Federation, which is led by President Boye Oyerinde.

First-ever national U-16 squash champion, previous U-19 champion, and current Technical Director of the Oyo State Squash Association, Oyewumi said the competition was a way for him to give back to the community and the sport that helped him become who he is.

“I’m glad to inform you that the board of the Nigeria Squash Federation, led by President Boye Oyerinde, has approved a date for the first edition of the JGM Residential Maintenance Services Ltd. U-16 and U-19 Junior National Squash Tournament holding in Ibadan, Oyo State," he said.

The Nigeria Squash Federation was established in 1974 as the governing body that oversees the sport of squash in Nigeria
