Following his move, he has been a frequent starter in the Atalanta team, as they continue their unbeaten run this season.
Juric praises Honest
Juric has hailed the young defender's recent contributions and confirmed his readiness to play a role for the first team.
"Meanwhile, Honest has done very well and made a great contribution at the back," Juric told reporters, as quoted by Tuttosport.
"The evaluations will be technical, but everyone will obviously be ready to make their contribution."
As his squad prepares to host Lazio at the Gewiss Stadium, the Atalanta boss expressed confidence in the Nigerian youngster.
He noted that the week's training sessions had been productive and that the team were determined to build on their recent league performances.
Ahanor remains eligible to represent Nigeria on the international stage. His continued development could soon attract the attention of the Nigeria Football Federation as it looks to build for the future of the Super Eagles.
