What Adeyemi said
After Dortmund’s 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen, Adeyemi spoke to Nigerian journalist Oma Akatugba, who asked him to name his favourite Super Eagles players.
Adeyemi wasted no time naming the skillful Jay Jay Okocha as the best Super Eagles player of all time before adding two more active players to his list of three.

“I think the best player ever is Jay-Jay Okocha, of course,” Adeyemi said. “About great players, [Victor] Osimhen is really good and also from [Bayer] Leverkusen, [Victor] Boniface is really good. Yeah, Nigeria has a lot of good players—and even players who do not play for Nigeria.”
On the transfer front, Adeyemi has made a surprising decision, rejecting an offer from Napoli to stay with the German club for the remainder of the season.
Despite the Italian side's tempting proposal, the 23-year-old has made it clear that his future lies in the Premier League.
Adeyemi's decision has sent shockwaves through the football world, with rumours suggesting that he has his sights set on top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool.
