Former Manchester United star Jaap Stam has questioned Andre Onana's future at Manchester United, citing the goalkeeper's insecurity and inconsistent performances.
Onana has come under pressure after a disappointing performance at Old Trafford.
Andre Onana's costly errors, including Thiago Almada's free-kick goal and Rayan Cherki's late equaliser, led to two goals in their 2-2 Europa League quarter-final first leg draw against Olympique Lyonnais.
What Jaap Stam said
Stam, who played for United between 1998 and 2001, stated that Onana always looked insecure with the ball.
"I think they're going to get some competition for him, You need to have goalkeepers who are very competitive. Onana looks a bit insecure in how he plays now," Stam said.

He continued, "He's not as much involved in the buildup play as he was before, maybe that makes him more insecure."
While Stam still thinks Onana has great reactions, he believes the goalkeeper needs to improve his decision-making.
"I still think he's got great reactions, but he still needs to make better decisions at times as well," he added.
Onana's inconsistent performances have raised concerns about his future at Manchester United. With the summer transfer window approaching, the club may look to bring in another goalkeeper to provide competition for Onana.
