Baljic, a former forward for both Fenerbahce and Real Madrid, accused Mourinho of "destroying" the team due to his ego and labelled him a "terrible coach" during a Turkish television program.

Baljic specifically questioned Mourinho's starting eleven and overall tactics, stating, "I don't think Jose Mourinho is a good coach. In fact, he is a terrible coach and he is making fun of us. He surprised us again with the starting eleven before the game. Can he have such tactics, such preferences for players? This is called joking. He cannot destroy a team like this with his ego and arrogance. Sorry, but he has done ridiculous things."

He went further, urging Fenerbahce to part ways with the Portuguese manager at the end of the current season.

He added, "I beg you not to continue with this man. I have no respect for Mourinho anymore."

Baljic also questioned the team's fighting spirit and tactical approach in the derby loss to Besiktas, which was managed by former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The defeat leaves Fenerbahce trailing Galatasaray by eight points in the Turkish Super Lig title race with only four matches remaining. This boosts Galatasaray's chances of securing the league title.

Mourinho's Fenerbahce will play their next league match against Istanbul Basaksehir on Friday.
