The encounter billed the "Jollof derby," between Ghana and Nigeria was a close encounter.

Ghana took the lead in the 24th minute through a clinical strike 18-year-old Dreams FC forward Musibau Aziz.
This goal propelled Ghana to a deserved halftime lead, much to the delight of the home crowd.
Nigeria, however, showcased their resilience in the second half and grabbed an equaliser in the 83rd minute through Abdulai Muhammed.

The Flying Eagles finished third at the recent U-20 AFCON earlier this year.
The team is using the WAFU B Championship as preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup later this year.
On Sunday, July 13, the Flying Eagles will face off against the Benin Republic in their final group game.
