Manchester City star striker Erling Haaland suffered a muscle injury leading to his substitution at half-time in the game against Barcelona on their US tour.
As Pulse Sports reported, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola revealed the player was substituted to avoid aggravating the injury,
"He's got some niggles. He didn't feel good,"
"[It is] disturbing something, he doesn't feel comfortable."
How serious is Haaland's injury
With the Premier League season approaching, Guardiola will be cautious with Haaland's fitness. City face Manchester United in the Community Shield on August 10 and begin their title defense against Chelsea on August 18.
They play Chelsea in their final pre-season game and the Norwegian striker is expected to miss out, and he may be unavailable for the pre-season tie against United as a precaution.
However, he is not expected to miss more than ten days which is good news for Man City fans.
