Edo Man Deontay Wilder set for September return
Although Deontay Wilder's opponent is still quite uncertain, a bout date is getting closer.
In a recent interview, the former heavyweight champion from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, hinted that he would return to the ring by August or September.
At a Professional Fighters League (PFL) bout event in Atlanta, Wilder made his thoughts known about returning to the ring.

He said, “It’s been a bit of a dilemma what path to take and what is available and what is not.
“There’s so many different things in the fight game. This business is, I always say, it’s one of the most difficult businesses around because it’s unstructured.
"It’s so many different directions business-wise. We gonna narrow it down. People should see me back, maybe, August, no later than September.”
The former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, who signed a lucrative multi-bout contract with the PFL earlier this year, has been approached by Wiler about a possible two-fight pact (one under boxing rules, the other mixed martial arts).
According to reports, Ngannou has a condition that would let him leave the PFL and take part in a boxing fight.
Despite the fact that Ngannou and Wilder both told the public that they had constructive conversations, nothing substantial has yet to materialize.
A bout between Wilder and fellow former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is reportedly scheduled for December in the Middle East. Wilder is presently debating this offer.
