The saga involving the former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick and Nigerian American-born singer, songwriter and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke professionally known as Davido has taken a new turn.

Afrobeats musician Davido was criticized by Pinnick for reportedly missing the 19th installment of Warri Again.

'Timeless' hitmaker reportedly received $94,600 to play at the event in Delta, according to Pinnick, who is presently a FIFA executive.

On October 6, the concert honoring performers from the Niger Delta region was organized.

The evening featured performances by a variety of performers, including AY Makun, Pheelz, Spyro, Fireboy DML, Destalker, and Pheelz.

It appears that Davido had already stated that he would attend the concert but was not among performers.

Davido has now taken to social media to respond to Pinnick.

He posted a series of message on his official social media platforms.

He said, "NOBODY CAN STOP ME FROM PERFORMING-ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA … WARRI I WILL SEE YOU SOON . ❤️

In another post, he added, "Throwing stones but u Dey live for glass house …"

The post by Davido that caught the attention of Nigerian football fans was the one where he wrote, "🙏🏾 make I no talk 😂" on the official logo of the NFF.
