Cristiano Ronaldo’s 1000th goal pursuit continues as Al Nassr beat Al-Ettifaq

Al Nassr return to winning, defeating Al-Ettifaq 3-0 after failing to win their last two games in the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

The Portuguese star made a mark in the game, taking his goal tally to three for the new season, three goals behind the leader Aleksandar Mitrović.

The Saudi Arabian side are currently fourth on the league table and one point behind league leaders Al-Ittihad.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo scored the first goal for Al Nassr during their clash against Al-Ettifaq.

According to Fabrizio on X, the forward scored his third goal of the season, making it 7 goals and 2 assists in 8 games for club and country so far this season.

The Real Madrid legend continued his pursuit of the 1000th record goal as he looked to set a new career record for himself.

Ronaldo recently claimed on his YouTube channel that his next milestone would be to reach 1,000 career goals.

He said, “The mark that I can have in football is to reach the first 900 goals after; my challenge is to reach 1000 goals.”

The Portuguese legend is currently on 902 goals after hitting the back of the net against Al-Ettifaq.
