AC Milan are watching every Fulham match with renewed enthusiasm after Samuel Chukwueze’s electrifying brace in the Cottagers’ 5–4 thriller against Manchester City.

The Nigerian winger, on loan from the Rossoneri, scored twice to reignite Milan’s belief that they could pocket close to €30 million from his potential permanent transfer.

Having spent over €20 million to bring him to Italy in 2023, Milan never saw Chukwueze hit full stride at San Siro, even though his talent was never in doubt. “He had a very good impact in the game. I’m very pleased for him. I would have preferred to have had Chukwueze earlier, in pre-season.”
