Chelsea will miss out - Liverpool legend says Enzo Maresca's team can't make EPL top 4

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has made a bold prediction about the top four teams in the Premier League this season.

According to Carragher, Chelsea will miss out on a top-four finish, while Liverpool, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United will secure their spots.

Speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Carragher expressed his confidence in Nottingham Forest's ability to crack the top four.

"Looking at the fixtures and Newcastle having a game in hand, I think Nottingham Forest will just do it," he said.

Carragher also believes Manchester City will secure their spot, despite their recent troubles.

He continued, "Those last four fixtures, you would expect Man City to win all four, even with the troubles they have had this season. I think Chelsea will miss out as they have the toughest fixtures. I think Aston Villa will just miss out."

Carragher's predictions come as a surprise to many, given Chelsea's strong start to the season. However, the Blues have struggled for form lately, which may impact their chances of securing a top-five spot.
