Chelsea vs Liverpool headline Premier League 2023-2024 Match Day 1 fixtures

The 2023/2024 English Premier League fixture list has been released, with a couple of fixtures set to catch the eye in the very first gameweek which will commence on Friday, 11th August.

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany will be taking his side to the Etihad Stadium against treble winners Manchester City, which is certain to be a baptism of fire for the former Cityzens captain in the Premier League.

Liverpool will be traveling to London to face old foes Chelsea two days later as both sides seek to make amends for their rather disappointing campaign last season.

Arsenal will be looking to avenge their 1-0 loss to Nottingham during their penultimate fixture of the 2022/23 season as they will be facing them from 2:30 PM East African time a day later.

Manchester United will be facing Wolves on Monday 14th August at Old Trafford to cap off the first round of fixtures.

In other Saturday fixtures, Bournemouth will host West Ham United as Brighton host newly promoted Luton Town at the Amex Stadium.

Everton will face Fulham,Sheffield United face Crystal Palace while Newcastle United host Aston Villa.

On Sunday, Brentford will face Tottenham in the other round of fixtures played that day.
