Chelsea legend John Terry names his top four players at Chelsea this season

Chelsea's form this season has been called into question by fans; however, some players have stood out during these troubled times.

The Blues defeated Southampton 4-0 during the week, having failed to win their last three games in all competitions.

However, despite the win, they remain in fifth place in the EPL table and out of the UEFA Champions League spot.

John Terry failed to mention Caicedo when discussing Chelsea's best performers this season, despite Caicedo being among the Premier League leaders in long pass accuracy.

The Chelsea legend told DR Sports, via Chelsea Chronicles, “Cole sticks out straight away. I think Enzo’s [Fernandez] been very good. Noni [Madueke], I think he’s done well this year. 

“He’s done a lot better, been really direct. I like [Pedro] Neto as well, so those kind of three or four would be my top.”

Neto's performances as a forward for Chelsea have earned him widespread praise. He has seized the opportunity presented by Nicolas Jackson's injury and excelled in the striker role.

Moises Caicedo is another player who, like Palmer, has played under Maresca this season.

The Blues will now focus on their next game against Copenhagen on Thursday before welcoming Leicester at the weekend.
