Chelsea agree €65 million deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign 20-year-old dazzling winger
Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
The Blues had already settled personal terms with Bynoe-Gittens, and they will pay €65 million for the 20-year-old, who will sign a seven-year deal with the West London giants.
Chelsea have been in need of a left-winger and pushed to sign the young star from Borussia Dortmund, but they couldn’t secure his signature in time for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Bynoe-Gittens caught the eye, particularly in the first half of the season, with an impressive 12 goals and five assists in 49 appearances. However, the England youth international struggled in the second half of the season under new manager Niko Kovac.

A former Manchester City academy starlet, Bynoe-Gittens is regarded as one of the best dribblers in the Bundesliga, and Chelsea will hope he can replicate those performances in the Premier League.
Despite the squad’s need for a top-calibre winger, Chelsea are continuing their youth project by adding another promising young player to their ranks.
