Alongside her will be Sabrina Ionescu, the contest record holder, who participated in 2023 and made 25 out of 27 attempts in the final round, amassing 37 points.

This was the highest number of successful attempts in a 3-point contest, for both the WNBA and NBA.

The star guard of the Liberty wanted to confirm her complete health before officially entering the contest, and she will be aiming to surpass her own record.

3-point contest and Skills Challenge

Earlier this year, Clark's team stated that she declined to compete in any capacity at the NBA All-Star weekend and expressed a desire for her first 3-point contest to take place in Indianapolis during the WNBA weekend.

Allisha Gray, who carved out her own piece of history in the previous season by winning both the 3-point and skills challenges, will attempt to retain her titles in these events.

In the 3-point shootout, she triumphed over Jonquel Jones with a score of 22-21, while Gray secured victory in the skills competition by beating Sophie Cunningham by 2 seconds.

Also taking part in the 3-point contest are Washington rookie Sonia Citron and Kelsey Plum from Los Angeles.

The other players competing in the skills challenge will be New York's Natasha Cloud, Seattle's Skylar Diggins and Erica Wheeler, and Minnesota's Courtney Williams.
