Brentford striker Yoane Wissa is reportedly furious with the club's management and is considering drastic action, including refusing to return to first-team training, according to Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old forward is a target for Newcastle, but the Bees have already rejected a £25 million bid and insist he is not for sale.

This stance, and the lack of open communication from the club's hierarchy regarding his future, has deeply frustrated the player.

Wissa left Brentford's training camp in Portugal at the end of last week to return to England and discuss his future with the club's management, but these talks have not led to a change in their position.

Brentford are reluctant to lose any more key players after already seeing manager Thomas Frank depart for Tottenham, Bryan Mbeumo move to Manchester United, and captain Christian Nørgaard sign for Arsenal this summer.

Wissa remains hopeful that Newcastle will maintain their interest and submit an improved offer. Meanwhile, the Magpies are reportedly in advanced talks with RB Leipzig's Benjamin Šeško.

Wissa made headlines last season after scoring his 37th Premier League goal to become Brentford's all-time leading scorer in the league.
