Brand awareness top on my agenda for new Maroons CEO
Newly appointed Maroons FC CEO Rodrick Muhumuza could be one who always takes on challenges head on
Now a few weeks old in his new role, Muhumuza reveals that his motivation to take on the CEO role was down to his passion for football.
"I have a passion for football that's for sure," Muhumuza told pulse sports before adding.
"But also I wanted to do things differently at Maroons FC and having worked in handball and rowing as CEO for a while, I wanted to challenge myself more."
The former middle line manager at the Uganda Prisons academy and training school also wants to spread the Maroons gospel around the Luzira locality through corporate social responsibility.
"As new CEO, I want to improve the club's brand awareness because Maroons is surrounded by a very mad soccer loving community like Mutungo, Biina, Kitintale, Kirombe and Nakawa where people love football."
"We only need to bring them closer and make them aware of the club and in due course attract partners because we need sponsors," he emphasized.
A home matchday party like atmosphere is an experience the prisons based side fan base can be assured of in the second round of the league.
