'Arsenal need a good striker' - Ex-Gunner star tells Arteta to sign Super Eagles star
Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit has urged his former club to sign a prolific striker, citing the example of Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
Super Eagles star Osimhen was linked with Chelsea and other clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, but a deadline-day move did not materialise.
Instead, the reigning African Player of the Year completed a loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
He has since scored seven goals and provided three assists in nine league matches, for the club.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Petit highlighted the Gunners' lack of a consistent goalscorer.
The Frenchman believes that while players like Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus can contribute to the attack, Arsenal need a more reliable goalscorer.

“They need a really, really good striker that can score goals because I really like Kai Havertz, sometimes [Gabriel] Jesus can do the job.
“But a typical striker that can score 20, 30 goals per season, this is exactly what Arsenal needs.
“I really like Osimhen. I think he’s on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain as well. I like Leao from AC Milan. They are different players but they are performing well at their clubs," he said.
As the January transfer window approaches, it will be interesting to see if Arsenal will make a move for a top-class striker or continue to rely on their current attacking options.
