British-Nigerian boxing icon Anthony Joshua is involved again with world leaders.

Joshua recently took to social media to share pictures posing alongside two prominent UK political figures, Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.

Joshua, a household name in boxing was born in Watford, England, to Nigerian parents.

He rose to global fame after winning Olympic gold in the super-heavyweight category at the 2012 London Games. His professional career boasts multiple world heavyweight titles.

While there, President John Mahama offered him Ghanaian citizenship and a role as a continental ambassador for boxing.

The meeting with Badenoch went viral as they both are of Nigerian descent.

Badenoch, born in London to Nigerian parents critique's the governance of the West African country.

Joshua on the other hand spent a large potion of the December break in Nigeria.

Joshua has been out of action for an extended period due to injury but his promoter Eddie Hearn has hinted a return later this year.
