British boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua, has encouraged his fellow countrymen who are located abroad to always travel back home.
Joshua revealed this in a widely shared video after his December vacation to the West African nation.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, invited Joshua to her house, which is how the film was created.
The two-time heavyweight champion emphasized in the video how important it is for Nigerians to maintain ties to their heritage.
The 35-year-old had previously shared a photo of himself and his family in Nigeria on social media.
Then videos of Joshua turning into an Okada rider in his compound went viral.
The former unified heavyweight boxing champion then had a vibe session with his chef.
Joshua has now left Nigeria and is expected to be at the Ring Magazine awards.
