Angry Nigerians blame Drake for Adesanya's loss to Dricus Du Plessis in UFC 305

Drake suffered a great deal following Adesanya’s loss to Du Plessis at UFC 305's main event at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

The Canadian rapper staked a massive amount of money worth ₦720 million (approximately $450,000) on Israel Adesanya to defeat Dricus du Plessis in the UFC 305 main event.

However, Adesanya lost the bout which led Nigerians to blame Drake for placing a bet on the Style Bender.

Drake has received a lot of backlash from Nigerian fans, who blamed him for the Adesanya loss after he staked a huge amount of money on him to win.

Dricus du Plessis defeated Israel Adesanya in the fourth round of UFC 305's main event to keep the UFC middleweight title.

The bout led to a surrender from the Nigerian after Du Plessis applied a rear-naked choke, forcing Adesanya to tap out.

The South African fighter was too strong for the Nigerian mixed martial artist, who tapped out in the fourth round.

Nigerians took to social media to warn Drake to stay away from placing bets on any Nigerian athlete.
