A gem! - Fans hail youngster Patrick Kakande as he shines to guide Villa past Maroons
Youngster Jonah Patrick Kakande continued to stamp his mark as one of the finest players of his age as he put up a Man of the Match performance as SC Villq beat Maroons FC 2-1 at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Thursday.
Kakande netted twice as the Jogoos came from a goal down to beat the Prison Warders in the first game of the Uganda Premier League second round.
He struck at the hour-mark and in the 71st minute to cancel out Fred Amaku's seventh-minute opener.
In the aftermath, local football enthusiasts took to social media to heap praises on Villa's hero.

It should be noted that he has now scored two goals and managed two assists in 15 games.

Following the result, Villa moved fourth on the Uganda Premier League log with 29 points, four adrift of leaders BUL FC.

On the other hand, Maroons descended to fifth on the table with 28 points after 16 games.
While Villa will visit Kitara FC in their next match on February 9, a day earlier, Maroons will have hoisted Wakiso Giants FC in Luzira.
