In recent years there have been reported cases of PSG players who have been victims of assaults on their homes, usually while they were not at home.

Donnarumma becomesat least the 13th PSG player to have reportedly been a victim of a robbery, as Ángel Di María, Sergio Rico, Mauro Icardi, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Dani Alves, and Choupo-Moting have experienced episodes with thieves.

In January this year, two men were convicted of robbing Marquinhos' home in March 2021, while in February two other people were sentenced to three and four years in prison for the assault on Di Maria's home, also carried out in March 2021.

However, these unfortunate incidents do not occur only in the Paris region, and do not only concern footballers at PSG.

Le Parisien reports that in the summer of 2022, Marco Verratti was robbed for more than 3 million euros while on holiday in Ibiza.
