The Atalanta star proudly presented his 2024 CAF Men’s African Footballer of the Year award to the President.

The visit, marked by a sense of national pride and celebration, underscored Lookman’s remarkable achievements on both the club and international stages.

The 27-year-old forward, clinched the prestigious CAF award on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco, becoming the second consecutive Nigerian to win the title after Victor Osimhen’s 2023 triumph.

However, the visit came at a time when Lookman was notably absent from the Super Eagles squad for the ongoing Unity Cup, meaning he will miss the final against the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica scheduled for May 31, 2025.
