Togolese football legend Emmanuel Adebayor is scheduled to formally declare his retirement from professional football.

The accomplishments of the former CAF Player of the Year Award winner will be highlighted over a three-day event.

For the Testimonial, Super Eagles of Nigeria icons Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo have arrived in Togo.

Nigerian icons Okocha and Kanu were greeted wit by Adebayor as soon as they landed in Lome, the capital of Togo.

The events started on Friday, October 25, and will end on Sunday, October 27 with an exhibition game at Kegue Stadium.

Adebayor has once ago referred to himself as a Yoruba footballer in the past.

Emmanuel Adebayor welcomes Kanu and Okocha

The former Real Madrid striker took to social media to celebrate the arrival of the Nigerian football legends.

Along with a video of their arrival was a message that said, "What a joy to host Nigerian football magician, Jay-Jay Okocha, and my idol, the great legend Kanu Nwankwo in Lomé!

"It's an honour to share these moments with these icons of African football. Thanks for being here to celebrate with us! #sea #seajubilee #seafoundation."

Alex Song of Cameroon and Ghanaian icon Asamoah Gyan are among the other well-known celebrities who have come for the occasion.

A few months ago, Emmanuel Adebayor debuted his SEA house, and he plans to keep up his charitable endeavors.
