Iga Swiatek has achieved some significant milestones in the WTA this season, which affirms her status as the best female player in the world.

World No. 1 professional female tennis player Iga Swiatek has achieved iconic milestones in her young career.

The Pole, with each tournament, has proven she's the best female tennis player in the world and will remain at the top for a very long time.

Here's a breakdown of her incredible career stats in the WTA (via Opta), which she has attained this 2023 season.

1 - Swiatek is the sixth female player this century to win five consecutive Women's Tennis Association (WTA) matches with fewer than four games dropped.

In her last five matches, she lost just eight matches in total. The other players to achieve such a feat are Kim Clijsters, Nadia Petrova, Amelie Mauresmo, Lindsay Davenport, and Sabine Lisicki.

2 - She has won 61.1% of her WTA-1000 main draw matches in straight sets (33/54).

Only Serena Williams (63.6%) has had a higher winning ratio since 2009.

3 - In 2023, Swiatek won her fifth set with a 6-0 scoreline, at least two more than any other player this season.

4 - She has won more than 40 WTA-1000 main draw matches in the fewest encounters (53). Only Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova (52 each) have won more.

5 - Swiatek has won her last 35 hard court matches against opponents ranked outside the top 30. The last time she lost such a match was in Miami 2021 against Ana Konjuh.

6 - She has passed the opening round in all her last 22 tournaments - the last time she lost on her debut in a single WTA tournament was back in Cincinnati 2021 against Ons Jabeur (WTA finals and United Cup excluded).

7 - At the Qatar Open, She became the first player in this century to win a WTA Tournament with less than ten games dropped en route to secure the title.
