The pair were inducted during a ceremony in Las Vegas part of the UFC’s International Fight Week celebrations.
The fight between the Nigerian-New Zealander was his sixth encounter under the UFC banner, after joining the organization in 2018 as a highly hyped prospect.

However, it was a struggle that stretched both guys to their maximum limits.
But it concluded with Adesanya getting his hand raised, seeing him break free from the tag of a hyped potential and catapult into international prominence.
It was a tight bout, with both men enjoying major moments in the first four rounds and were knotted going into the fifth.
Between the fourth and fifth rounds, the camera recorded Adesanya as he declared, “You can’t beat me. I’m prepared to die,” before he went on to dominate the final round.
