The former member of the Fugees is a football fan and has been involved in the sport over the years.

Wyclef was one of the artistes commissioned to make an official World Cup track for the 2014 Mundial in Brazil. His song "We Will Find a Way" or "Dar Um Jeito" in Portuguese was the official anthem of the tournament and it was met with a huge reception.

The Haitian-American also performed at the 2006 World Cup final alongside Colombian superstar Shakira. The duo performed their smash hit "Hips Don't Lie" to a packed Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.

The track was not one of the official songs for the tournament, but it was the biggest record in the world at the time, topping the charts in 14 different countries and earning platinum certification in seven different countries.
