Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has revealed his love for a particular Nigerian food, saying his mother has always made it for him.

Saka is only one of the numerous football players who play for European nations yet were born in Nigeria.

The 22-year-old winger plays for England, but his parents, Adenike and Yomi Saka are Nigerians who raised him in London.

Additionally, he said that he was accustomed to eating moin moin rather than scotch eggs because his mother had always made it for him when he was younger.

Saka said in a YouTube video, “I like moin moin, it’s like beans, but it's just made in a different way. My mum puts a bit of fish when she makes it, and it’s really nice,”

The Arsenal player also mentioned how much he loves plantain chips. But he went with UK love hearts over Nigerian sweet Tom Tom, and Twix chocolate over Milo.

Saka has however chosen to remain true to his heritage and continue eating Nigerian food since he still understands his roots.
