Barcelona's women's team secured a spot in the Champions League final by defeating Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, overturning a first-leg deficit.
This victory marks the second consecutive season Barcelona has ousted Chelsea in the semi-finals, dealing a blow to Chelsea coach Emma Hayes amidst controversy over a red card shown to Canadian player Kadeisha Buchanan. Potential Third Medal for Oshoala
Super Falcons legend Asisat Oshoala, who participated in the tournament with Barcelona before moving to Bay FC in the USA mid-season, could still receive a winners' medal if Barcelona triumph in the final. Oshoala played twice for Barcelona in the group stage of the UWCL, scoring once in the 5-0 victory over Benfica.

According to UEFA rules, clubs are awarded 40 medals for winning or losing the UWCL final, and it is up to the clubs to determine which players receive medals. Therefore, players who have appeared for the winning team, even if they are no longer part of the squad, are likely to receive medals.
If Barcelona emerges victorious in Bilbao, Oshoala would be in line to receive her third winners' medal, having previously triumphed with Barcelona in 2021 and 2023. Despite her mid-season switch to Bay FC, Oshoala's contributions earlier in the tournament could still be recognised with a medal, highlighting her impact on Barcelona's journey to the final.
