Victor Osimhen's move to Chelsea still on track as Al Ahli book medical for Toney
The summer transfer window has seen Chelsea and Al Ahli pursue the same strikers, Osimhen and Toney.
Chelsea are keen to sign Osimhen, while Al Ahli are negotiating a deal for both players at the same time.
However, Al Ahli have decided to pick the Brentford striker after agreeing on a deal with Brentford and have booked a medical.
Toney set for Saudi Arabia
Osimhen is still Chelsea's best offensive option as the transfer window closes, with Al Ahli now giving Toney priority.
The Saudi Arabian side agreed a £40 million deal with Brentford for the England international and he is set to complete his move.
According to Fabrizio on X, “Al Ahli have total agreement with Ivan Toney and his agents. Three-year deal in place. Medical tests are also booked for the English striker and £40m to Brentford.”
🚨🇸🇦 Understand Al Ahli will ONLY sign ONE between Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney. This is the current plan.

The striker is expected to sign a three-year contract deal with Al Ahli after he completes his medicals.
Toney’s move to Al Ahli opens the door for Chelsea to finalise a deal for Osimhen, who is keen to leave Napoli.
The Blues are looking to bring the Super Eagles striker to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Napoli are currently negotiating the deal with Chelsea, but are yet to decide on the striker's possible destination.
