The 28-year-old will go into the final as one of the best players to look out for and a potential game-changer for her club, Barcelona.

Speaking on the win two years ago, the former Arsenal striker described it as ‘amazing’.

"My goodness, when we won the Champions League [in 2021] of course! Winning the Champions League is amazing,’’ she told the Champions League website as reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria.

On the growth of the Women’s Champions League, the forward could not control her excitement as she added she is happy her family can now watch her on TV in Nigeria.

On Saturday, June 3, at a sold-out PSV Stadium in Eindhoven, the 2023 UEFA Women's Champions League final between Barcelona and Wolfsburg will take place.

"We have DAZN now, which we didn't have a couple of years ago. And now a lot of people have access to watch the Women's Champions League. Even my family can watch me play now.

"Up until now in Africa, we didn't get to watch the matches, they just followed the live scores. And this is just the beginning – there's so much more to come for women's football."
