Nigerian international Victor Boniface wore his creative boots to help Bayer Leverkusen continue their brilliant run away from home.

Victor Boniface, the sensational Nigerian striker, was at his excellent best again after showcasing his prowess in thrilling match for Bayer Leverkusen.

Boniface put on a show as Bayer Leverkusen continued their brilliant start with a five-goal spectacle after a 3-2 win at Hoffenheim on Saturday evening. 

Boniface shines for Bayer Leverkusen

The Nigerian forward, known for his remarkable skills and flair on the pitch, has been making waves since his move to the German Bundesliga.

Boniface, 22, was at his creative best again as Leverkusen cemented their place at the top of the Bundesliga with a thrilling win against Hoffenheim.

The former USG star did not add to his goal tally but contributed two of the goals, the opener and the winner to pick up two assists in 88 minutes of action. 

His latest performance for Werkself has further cemented his place as one of the best young forwards in the world at the moment.

The match in question was a roller-coaster ride, with both sides displaying attacking football and creating numerous opportunities.

Bayer Leverkusen took a 2-0 lead at the break before the home side bounced back in the second half with two goals in two minutes from Anton Stach and former Manchester United star Wout Weghorst.

However, Leverkusen will have the last laugh as Boniface set up left back, Alex Grimaldo, who rifled home the sensational winner.

Boniface’s impact was evident from the start and his ability to read the game, make crucial passes, and create opportunities for his teammates set him apart in the game.

His vision and composure in front of the goal were on full display as the Nigerian, who believes that ‘givers never knack (lack)” helped his Leverkusen side extend their winning streak to 10 matches across all competitions.

He completed two dribbles and created two chances to take his assists tally to five in the Bundesliga.
