Tusker were handed a first loss of the season by Homeboyz as Shabana threw away an advantage to draw with Police while Ulinzi lost a third straight match.

Tusker FC lost their first game of the season as Kakamega Homeboyz handed them a 2-1 defeat in an FKF Premier League game on Saturday.

Homeboyz went ahead after just three minutes when Ambrose Sifuna scored the opening goal before Moses Shumah made it 2-0 in the 18th minute.

Eric Zakayo pulled one back for Tusker in the 71st minute but it was not enough as the Brewers succumbed to a loss.

It was the first win of the season for Homeboyz who had lost their league opener to Murang'a Seal before the international break.

Bandari 1-0 Ulinzi Stars

Elsewhere, Bandari piled more misery on their former coach Anthony 'Modo' Kimani as they handled Ulinzi Stars a 1-0 loss.

Abdallah Hassan scored the lone goal as Ulinzi suffered a third straight league loss which will leave coach Anthony Kimani with plenty to ponder.

Shabana 1-1 Kenya Police

In Homa Bay, Shabana and Kenya Police played out a 1-1 draw but it was a third straight game in which they threw away a lead.

Peter Ogechi gave Shabana an 87th minute lead but the Law Enforcers equalised in injury time.

Nzoia 1-1 Bidco

Meanwhile, Nzoia Sugar and Bidco United also played out a 1-1 draw.
