Tottenham will reportedly try to reunite midfielder James Maddison with an old Leicester teammate in the January transfer window

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as they look to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.

Ndidi on Tottenham’s radar

Ndidi, currently with Championship side Leicester City is a top prospect for many sides looking to add quality to their midfield, and the Nigerian star was targeted by German giants Bayern Munich.

That move did not materialise, however, and Ndidi has continued to impress with Leicester City in the Championship, helping the Foxes to an outstanding campaign so far as they lead the division on 39 points from 15 matches.

According to The Daily Express, Ndidi remains a priority signing for Tottenham, who will attempt to sign the Nigerian midfielder in the next transfer window or next summer when his contract expires.

Leicester will be keen on a January sale to avoid losing the Nigerian midfielder on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.
