Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club appeal for support for the Girl Child

Jadesola stated, the supporters club have already deemed it fit to celebrate the Girl Child Day on October 15 with a seminar on 'Keeping the Girl Child In School' and a day tourney which is to harness their talents.

The Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club (SNWFSC) have described the Girl Child as Heroes because of the challenges they face in making their dreams come true.

The President of SNWFSC, Jadesola Adelabu said the Girl Child should be supported by all to make their dreams come true in life because most of them faces difficult challenges while navigating through life at their teenage years.

Jadesola stated the supporters club has already deemed it fit to celebrate Girl Child Day on October 15 with a seminar on 'Keeping the Girl Child in School' and a day tourney to harness their talents.

"I want to use this medium to celebrate the Girl Child, they are our heroes, and legends of tomorrow, we must support them to actualize their growth and goal in life.

"The girl child have an impact in the world of sports, we must continually encourage the girl child not to relent in their pursuit for greatness.

"It's our duty as adults to always protect the Girl Child and give them a listening hear whenever they needs it and always push them to turn their back on sycophants who wants to exploit them.

"The Girl Child deserves a better place and better environment to achieve their dreams in life and on this note, SNWFSC have decided to celebrate the Girl Child Day on October 15 with a seminar and football tourney which will be about keeping the Girl Child in school and prioritizing their education above other needs."

The following teams have been penciled to participate in the SNWFSC Girl Child Day seminar/tournament, Future Stars, Flourish Academy, Ghetto Tigers Ladies, CATS Ladies, FC Phoenix Queens, Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Papa Soccer Academy, and Dream Stars Ladies.
