A Pulse Sports XI of the most outstanding players in the Premier League from game week 26.

Goalkeeper- Jose Sa (Wolves) vs Tottenham

Wolves earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Spurs to continue their resurgence under new manager Julen Lopetegui. Jose Sa was a huge part of why Wolves came away with a win. He made six saves and transmitted confidence throughout his backline to keep out Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. 

Right-back  - Matty Cash (Aston Villa) vs Crystal Palace

Matty Cash was  put in an impressive defensive performance to help  Aston Villa to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace including winning 10 of his 12 ground duels. 

Also, Villa's winner came from the 25-year-old's surge down the right, Joachim Andersen turning the full-back's whipped delivery into his own net.

Centre-back - Wesley Fofana (Chelsea) vs Leeds 

Fofana helped Chelsea get their first win in seven games by rising to head home the winner against Leeds. 

He was also impressive defensively and very assured in possesion as he completed 96% of his passes, winning seven ground duels and five aerial duels.

Centre-back - Joel Veltman (Brighton) vs West Ham

Veltman came on for the injured Tariq Lamptey and put in an excellent performance including a solid finish to make it 2-0 for Brighton against West Ham. 

He was solid in tackle and very composed in possesion as Brighton dominated the Hammers from start to finish. 

Left-back- Andy Robertson (Liverpool) vs Manchester United

Robertson was at his absolute best in the 7-0 win against Manchester United at Anfield as he looked back to his best.

The 28-year-old was an effective performer for Jurgen Klopp’s men and he provided an  excellent through ball to find Cody Gakpo to open the scoring just before half time. 

Midfield- Romeo Lavia (Southampton) vs Leicester City

Romeo Lavia was excellent for Southampton in the middle of the park, making 14 ball recoveries and winning all three tackles he attempted. 

He also made an excellent challenge to stop a Leicester attack that ultimately led to Southampton’s winner

Midfielder - Martin Odegaard (Arsenal) vs Bournemouth 

Odegaard was at his creative best against Bournemouth. He had 104 touches as the Gunners dominated the ball against Bournemouth from start to finish. 

The Norwegian was responsible for 11 shots as he tried his hardest to pull his side back into the game, making three key passes and putting in 8 crosses. 

Midfielder - Alexis MacAllister (Brighton) vs West Ham

The World Cup winner was exceptional against West Ham running the game from the number 10 position. He contributed a goal and an assist to an overall splendid performance as the Seagulls smashed David Moyes men to the tune of 4 unreplied goals 

Forward - Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) vs Man United 

A memorable night at Anfield saw Mohamed Salah score four goal-involvements as he tore Manchester United apart.

He drove at Manchester United with pace and purpose, the Egyptian teed up Gakpo for the third before lashing a superb instinctive finish in off the underside of the bar.

Forward - Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) vs Manchester United

Gakpo was sensational against United. He opened the scoring just before half time with a good run off the left and a curling finish into the bottom corner. He then scored the all-important third from an almost impossible angle with a splendid chip. 

Forward - Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) vs Manchester United 

Nunez rounds off our list for this week’s team of the round. He scored two goals for Liverpool as part of excellent team performance that culminated in a 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United.
