Real Madrid join the race for Victor Osimhen

This season, the Nigerian attacker has excelled for Napoli. His squad finished first in Serie A and finally won the league title after more than three decades. 

Victor Osimhen who has 32 goal contributions for his team has been considered by Real Madrid as a potential signing in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid's priority is to sign Kylian Mbappé, but if they fail to get a deal over the line for the Frenchman, Osimhen would be their next move. 

Osimhen, who is only 24 years old, has established himself as a productive striker for Napoli. He has been a continuous menace to opposing defence because of his speed, skill, and physical strength.

The striker signed for Napoli for a fee of €70 million in the 2021-2022 season and has since then been a mainstay in the team.

The Nigerian forward is contracted to Napoli till 2025 and has been on the radar of many big teams across Europe. 

Real Madrid are looking to lure Osimhen from Napoli and could hand in a mega transfer for the Nigerian striker.

Osimhen is anticipated to depart the squad at some time in the future, despite club owner De Laurentiis's declaration that he won't be moved this summer.
