Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has said his final words to the fans as he bids farewell to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 in Carlo Ancelotti's final match as manager of the "Galacticos".

At the end of the match, the legendary Italian manager delivered a moving speech and received a standing ovation from the fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite having one year left on his contract, Ancelotti and Real Madrid reached a mutual agreement to part ways at the end of the season.

Ancelotti's farewell message

Today's match was Ancelotti's last at the Santiago Bernabeu, and he bid farewell to the supporters with a victory against Real Sociedad.

After the final whistle, the Italian manager gave a heartfelt speech thanking the club and the over 70,000 fans in attendance, becoming visibly emotional.

"First and foremost, I want to thank my dear president, Florentino Perez. Everything that's happened here has been fantastic, and I'm incredibly grateful for these moments."

"I also want to thank all of you, the supporters, who have unconditionally backed us, through thick and thin. Know that without you, none of this would have been possible. Everything we've won, we've won together," said Ancelotti, with tears in his eyes, as reported by Sportal.bg.

The Italian then reminisced about some unforgettable moments from his recent seasons in Madrid, particularly Champions League nights, and concluded by expressing his love for the club and its fans.

"It's been extraordinary to experience this with you, an unforgettable story. No one can erase Karim's three goals against PSG, Rodrygo's two against Manchester City, or Luka's genius assist against Chelsea."

"And, of course, no one can forget Joselu's two goals against Bayern. Just as you won't forget these moments, I won't forget a single day I spent here. Real Madrid is the club of my life, and I'll end with Hala Madrid and nothing else. I love you all, and thank you," he added.
