According to reports from Sportal.bg, Valverde is expected to recover within a week to ten days.

This means he should be available for Los Blancos' Club World Cup campaign in the USA, which begins in three weeks.

He's also Real Madrid's most-used player this season, having racked up 4,942 minutes on the pitch.

Real Madrid are in a Club World Cup group alongside Al-Hilal, Pachuca, and Red Bull Salzburg.
