As it happened

PSG manager Christopher Galtier picked a strong 11 as Mbappe led the attack for the home side. Lionel Messi also started after being suspended for two weeks. Ajaccio's manager on the other hand started El-Idrissy in attack.

The home side opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Fabian Ruiz got a great chance inside the box and slammed the ball into the top left corner. In the 33rd minute, Kylian Mbappe had a shot blocked, but the ball fell to Achraf Hakimi who found some space inside the box and buried the ball low into the middle of the net.

The second half started and PSG continued from where they left off. Kylian Mbappe scored his first goal as he fired a rebound low into the middle of the goal after the ball broke to him in the box.

The Frenchman scored his second of the game shortly after in the 54th minute. Kylian Mbappe received the ball after one of the defenders failed to make a clearance and sent the ball into the back of the net.

PSG added the fifth goal of the game when Mohamed Youssouf deflects the ball past his own goalkeeper and into the goal after trying to jump in the way of a shot.

This win brings PSG closer to the title with three games remaining and goes six points clear of Lens in second position.
