The Law Enforcers mentor has unveils surprise new talent in squad ahead of 2023/2024 FKFPL season.

South Sudan international Rashid Toha has officially made his debut for Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) moneybags  Kenya Police FC.

The 25-year-old  center-back recently bid farewell to his former team, Uganda Premier League side Arua Hill SC, even though he still had a year left on his contract.

Coach Francis Baraza, recognizing the immense potential of the towering defender, did not hesitate to include him in the squad for Tuesday’s  friendly against Namungo FC at the prestigious Black Rhino Stadium in Karatu, Tanzania.

Toha's signing marks a significant milestone for the Law Enforcers, as he becomes their major acquisition after securing the talents of Kenneth Muguna and Tyson Otieno.

Police’s team  manager George Maelo also confirmed that the club will not be pursuing any further signings, firmly stating that their squad is now complete.

"We are not going to release or add any other players. The squad is complete, and we believe it has all the components needed to clinch the league title in the coming season,"Maelo emphasized.

Before finalizing his move to the Kenyan side, he was strongly linked with a potential transfer to Ugandan giants URA FC.

However, the deal failed to materialize, and fate brought him to Kenya, where he is ready to take on new challenges and showcase his defensive prowess.

Toha's arrival adds a wealth of experience and defensive prowess to Police, and his partnership with David Ochieng, Musa Mohamed and Baraka Badi at the backline is expected to strengthen the squad's overall performance.

As a proven center-back, Toha's skills and leadership on the field are set to be a valuable asset to the team's ambitions in the upcoming season.

The Law Enforcer’s decision not to pursue additional signings shows the club's confidence in their current squad and their determination to compete for the league title in the upcoming season.

With the likes of Rashid Toha, Kenneth Muguna, and Tyson Otieno in their ranks, they possess a formidable team capable of challenging the best teams in the league.
