The Ghanaian’s sensational overhead kick for West Ham against Manchester City put a halt on the title parade as it cut the Cityzens’ lead in half to make it 2-1.

Kudus goal makes Premier League history

Kudus’ goal was the 1,223rd goal of the current Premier League campaign, making the 2023/24 season the highest-scoring season in the league’s history.

With an average of 3.28 and a total of 1,246 goals this season, the 20 teams contributed to the most prolific season in Premier League history.

Manchester City were the top scorers in the league with 96 goals, with Arsenal in second with 91 goals, while relegated Sheffield United scored the fewest goals with only 35.
